The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I'll suggest that to DH. Don't know if the Sheriff would do much, the ranchers are allowed to free range their herds but the course is private property.

Don't you think it would be more fun to chase one around with a backhoe though?
Or a Gator?
And in other local news...

Maybe some of you recall back in 2016 when DH interrupted a burglary at the course and the 2 guys involved were sent to prison. One of them was just released on parole. The first thing he did was get high and overdosed.

:th (This is such a weird place.)
At least you won’t have to worry about him coming back.

Too bad he didn’t do it 4 years sooner:oops:At least you won’t have to worry about him coming back.

That bull is huge, I don't think he'd pay much attention to a gator. A backhoe would make things more even.

As for the parolee, I have a lot of thoughts along the same lines. Probably best not to offend anyone with them though

We used to get our beef from our neighbor but he just recently sold all of his cows. We are getting 1/2 a cow from hubby’s agronomist in September. I’m hoping we get a good one.
Do hornworms chew holes in tomatoes?
Yep

Tomato horn worms do!

They come from a very large night flying moth

DH just came home ranting & raving. For the 5th time in the past 10 days one of the local rancher's bulls has been tromping around the golf course, tearing up the greens and dumping cow patties everywhere (not to mention menacing DH & his 2 employees). There are cattle guards at the entrances to the course but this huge beast has figured out a way of slipping around them. He's called the rancher several times, but that guy doesn't care.

DH said he's about to go after the bull with a backhoe. Anyone up for a round up?
A 30 - 6 and a big BBQ might work! :D

It’s stained. I haven’t decided if I’m going to varnish it. I’m not a fan of shiny wood so it’s probably done. I had hubby build it as a floating shelf. I want him to make something similar in the entryway when we add on for boot/shoe shelves. I was just looking on you tube to see how to glue bricks back on that have fallen off. I need to mortar it also. We had this done in 2000 and it’s been falling apart for several years. Hubby saved the leftover mortar and grout powder. I hope it’s still good.

It does look very nice without the shiny on it
