Good morning Bob, nothing wrong with sleeping in once in a while!

And isn't that a strange turn of events. It blows my mind that @007Sean is having to deal with similar/worse weather than me.
Much worse than most of the country is dealing with....poor management or more precisely NO MANAGEMENT has caused the fiasco!
At least I had rolling blackouts, others not so lucky. My well pipes froze and split open, despite been wrapped and covered by an electric blanket and a heat lamp in the well house.
I still haven't been able to 'fix' the plumbing in the well house. Hasn't been above freezing. Tried to fix it but the PVC just shattered, while trying to take apart, (don't attempt in sub freezing temps) I have a fireplace, Dearborn propane heaters, so I wasn't too cold in the house, got down to 60°F when the temp outside was 9°F. The rest of the time it's been hovering around 73°F.

Sunny today, expected to get to 44°F but I doubt it will reach 39°F. Will take a full day of 40° + temps to thaw out.

Getting water from a neighbor. Their outside lines froze and burst but the lines to their house did not. :hmm

And to think it was 82°F last week and will be there again by next weekend.

Deer tracks around my pens, looking to get to the feed inside the pens.

Hello Sean, that's some crazy weather for you 😞. Busted pipes are no fun, we had that happen in Virginia and it caused tons of damage in our basement. Stay safe and hopefully this crazy weather will go away soon. It's great seeing you again 🤗🤗
