Here there are a lot of ash trees dying from the Emerald Ash borer. I've had several taken down in my front hedgerow.
We have a charge on our electric bill for the company to cut ash trees near the lines. I don't know what an ash looks like, I might have some out in the woods. Definitely none near the house. There are only 3 trees, one ancient sugar maple and 2 evergreens.

Dutch elm disease and a thing that happens to oaks with weather change is a problem.

There is also the peach borer moth that kills plum, nectarine and apricot trees.

We lost our plum tree last year to them.

Oak trees are also dying from a disease too.

PGandE is now charging us for the power lines damaged from the fires...that they caused!
