Most people are surprised that he doesn't eat more. But then I've never owned a St. Bernard or Newfoundland. I imagine they could probably eat more.

And labradors

Quick question before I run...what's your opinion on people taking their dogs to a golf course?

DH and I see this differently. He doesn't think it's a big deal and I don't think it's an appropriate place for them. Three times we've had people show up to play golf and they bring their dogs with them. My objections: not everyone is responsible about picking up after the poops; the dog's behavior (barking, running around, etc.) could annoy other golfers; also, they could bite someone and the course would be liable.

Thoughts? I have to go but am really interested in what you all think. Maybe it's just me being the curmudgeonly person I am?

Nah, keep dogs away - you only need one idiot owner and you are snookered. Plus they'll be asking for seats for 'em at the 19th hole!

Good morning!

Nicky, beautiful animals you have there. How many cats do you have now? I thought you had a couple more.

Thanks! Yes, I have a 7 year old cat named Misty. Indigo, Amber and Ember's brother, my brother has now.

On the dog question, nope! Keep them at home. It's a golf course, not a dog park. It's also a lawsuit waiting to happen. I'd say no dogs unless they're certified service dogs.

@N F C X2 on this..... except why would a blind person be playing golf?, so nix on ALL dogs IMO.

Personally I have had a number of dogs and loved them all, but have a fear of dogs that I don't know. Even my own dog once tried to attack a Cable Repair guy - shocked me that my sweet Pearl saw him as a threat. And not to mention....who wants to have their golf ball land on a poop

Or even worse, have to clean poop off your golf shoes

. Or BARK in your backswing

And if they let those dogs drive the golf carts?

They have seizure dogs for epileptics. They can sense a seizure coming before their masters know. It's not just the blind that have them now.
