I imagine I’d want to throw the book at someone I thought was guilty of seriously injuring another person. Especially a little kid. Maybe if you have to serve again you’ll have a less violent case at least.

I hear there is not a lot of cases that actually go to court but they said there were 4 coming up. As far as I’m concerned child abuse cases are the worst.

It would rank right up there with murder and rape for me.

I agree. Rare for murder around here, thank goodness. The last murder here was probably 15 years ago. I knew the guy that murdered his wife. I would never have thought him capable of it.
