Well, "The best laid plans of mice and men aft times gang awry." Woke up to a sick dog so made a visit to the vet's rather than the grave. We will have to go to the cemetery tomorrow.

Life does have a way of getting in the way of life sometimes, doesn't it? Sure hope the dog's okay ----

Drew blood for a complete blood count and tick disease exposure/possibility. Also drew lymph fluid for cytology. Started the dog on doxycycline. Realistically he will be luckier if it is one of the tick born diseases - lymphoma not so lucky. I'd actually feel better if he was running a fever - I'm a bit pessimistic, but the Princess says that is my true nature.
