I just love her wearing those goofy glasses. She finds them as soon as she gets here, they go on her face, and they don't come off until it's either time to go home or time to go to school. And she looks so doggone cute in them!

Just before I got sick, we were getting ready to take her to school. I finally remembered to video her getting into her car seat all by herself to show her mom how she does it. Well, I had the camera in my hand so that's naturally when she decided to do it mostly by herself. She got distracted by a strap and Grampa had to use his "reminder" tone of voice and then a boost to get her back on track. It's such a dramatic change in voice (we both use it) that it usually makes her re-focus very well. All he did to boost her was cup her foot so she had to push against it. She is such a marvel - she's exceeded all of the goals set by her doctors and I think you nailed it, Bert - she's determined! Last video, I promise!

You have no idea how much this simple act will save our backs!

I sure did...I've been on it....and I've been on the ice fishing thread too. Was going to go out ice fishing today in Bay De Noc...(it's LAKE Michigan) but we've got sustained 40 ,mph winds...didn't want to get blown away.....

Goodnight Phil - I really am off to the land of nod. Now but all this talk of ice n such - don't you ever wonder why Homo sapiens originated in east Africa? What's the cold miserable weather all about? :) - not cricket at all!

Just a thought but if your surname began with a "J" we could call you you "LL Phil J" - knock out a couple of tunes n you'd be sorted!
