There are soooo many breeds I'd love to have, but just don't have the resources. I like keeping most breeds separated, so I would need way too many pens!

That's just downright wrong.

My Mother's birthday was this past Tuesday. She made the best scratch cheesecakes.

Now I'm going to have to stop at the store and buy a box mix.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry! Or have a good cry while you eat your cheesecake.

Chris, if you get in hot water for hatching egg, you can always blame all the enablers here on BYC. The pressure just got to you, it wasn't your fault. Group hypnosis...whatever works.

You see Debby, I have been known to suffer from selective amnesia when i set eggs under my broody - but a bright yellow incubator in the house is sure to rouse a little more suspicion - I could put it in the staff quarters - DW never goes there (result!

). Maybe i could just say that the hens lay eggs in the incubator? (and they put water in, and turn it on but that may be pushing my luck a bit).

Guess I'll celebrate poultry day by making hard boiled eggs today. The "let's laugh" day sounds promising!

Thats a sore point. Was watching the cricket and the tv service that i stream from went down in the last 2 minutes before the end of the game. I nearly threw my teddies out of the cot, i can tell you. Guess today will be no better, we will see...

Oh dear, I didn't mean it in a bad way. Cheesecake will always remind me of my mother, but that's a good thing. The only thing wrong about it is the weight I could gain!

Wow! I love chocolate caramel and I also love corndogs. Not together though. And I'm playing nurse since hubby's surgery, I have plenty of poultry, so I guess I need to go work on one of my unfinished quilts! Hope yall have a great Saturday!!

WV, I didn't know you quilted. I don't myself but have several from grand and great-grandmothers. Always loved them. Do you have a picture or two you could show me?
