Good morning!

Does it feel like summer is running out for everyone? My 2 pro shop employees are getting ready to go back to school...the 21 yr old will be back to college next week and the 16 yr old back to high school the week after that. DH & I were in town yesterday and picked up some winter clothes. Someone was telling us to expect a freeze (or at least a heavy frost) in a few weeks. Where did summer go?

You left Summer in FL - should have packed it in that trailer?

Friday, you asked about the course closing...it will be sometime between mid-October and end of October. Then, I settle in for a long winter's nap, lol.

Yesterday my cousin and granddaughter drove over from Laramie to spend the afternoon. So nice to be able to see my favorite cousin that easily! She's volunteered to come pick me up and take me car shopping in a couple weeks once the insurance case is settled.

Tonight is Men's League and we have at least 5 more staying for dinner, guess word is getting out! Tonight's menu: skewers 3 ways (ham & pineapple, steak & peppers/onions, chicken & mushrooms), rice with vegetables and ice cream mud pie for dessert.

This is my primary form of transportation these days. I can take it from home to work at the course and back. It's a bit chilly in the morning and doesn't have headlights but it beats walking!

Talked to the insurance carrier yesterday. They said things should be settled in about 2 weeks (
