The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

They have seizure dogs for epileptics. They can sense a seizure coming before their masters know. It's not just the blind that have them now.

Thanks for info, did not know that.

So allow service dogs, but ban the rest.

Thanks! Yes, I have a 7 year old cat named Misty. Indigo, Amber and Ember's brother, my brother has now.

On the dog question, nope! Keep them at home. It's a golf course, not a dog park. It's also a lawsuit waiting to happen. I'd say no dogs unless they're certified service dogs.

I agree!!

Thanks for the opines everyone...I'm going to bring it up at the next board meeting.

Last night's League dinner went very well. At first it looked like we were only going to have a few stay to eat but that number grew. Such generous compliments (and tips!) were given. It's totally satisfying when people enjoy what you feed them. Almost makes a 16 hour work day worth it.

Today we have a lunch order for 20 and Friday we have another group of 17 for lunch. I guess word is getting out

Time to go, I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday!

Debby, I'm with the others on the dogs on golf courses. I love my dogs and I take Dudley lots of places, but I don't think the golf course is a place for them. All the reasons given by others make perfect sense to me.

And you better slow down before you burn out! I'm glad its a successful venture, but take care of yourself too!

Most dogs are great - too many owners are not. NO to dogs on the golf course. Congratulations on the successes.

Sixteen hours - that leaves only 8 hours of sleep and back to work...that leaves no time for personal hygiene...baths, real relaxation, bonding with Bam Bam and Pip ,etc.

Glad the course is doing well - hope those tips are very heavy and keep rolling in:) And hope you found some new help so you are not having to prepare all those lunches by yourself

Good Morning Ken, and the same to you.

I'm off for the weekend and will try again to get my driver's license today - armed with certified stuff, but going to another county where the workers are more friendly:)
