Anyone besides me miss Bert like crazy?

Ken just left and will be gone about an hour. This morning is "Doughnuts with Dad Morning" at the elementary school. Katie's class is helping serve. Kenny couldn't go because by now he's already been at work for 3 hours...he goes in at 4am. So Grampa volunteered to stand in. It's for the whole school, so Jen took Kendra to pre-school at 7, then Ken is meeting her and her aid Pam in the lobby of the elementary school and he'll take over from there. The pre-school is in the building that houses the school district headquarters...a beautiful old sandstone building that used to be the Big Horn Academy (Cowley's old high school) and was completely renovated about 10 years ago. It's breathtaking! It's on the other side of the school parking lot. Anyway, all the kids had to meet at the schools between 7 and 7:15 to get ready for the dads. Hope somebody gets a photo of Ken wearing a crown!

What are you trying to hit him with, that you keep missing? Remember Dragnet "the stories you are about to see are true, the names have been changed to protect the innocent?" I don't know if there is any innocence left to protect here, but there has been a name change:

If any of you plan on buying holiday gifts from Amazon, you might want to get a move on. I ordered a few movies for DH on the 5th but I just got word they won't be here until the 15th. 10 days seems really slow to me....maybe they're already getting bogged down?

Oh, and ssshhhh, don't tell DH, ok?

I'm still here gal. for the most part, new name, and a almost new posting style........trying to clean up my act......lol

tough to do with this crowd, but it's all good. No other folks on the net, I'd rather chat, tease, encourage, cry, or bluster with.

I thought it was more common knowledge, about the name change. I'm sorry.

Sitting here trying to clip chicken pictures from a magazine and keep cutting their scrawny little legs off. Be a lot easier if chickens had legs shaped like elephants.

:gig use sharper scissors. Seriously, it's like cutting tomatoes with a sharp knife. A sharper blade slides easier and creates less ooopsies. :D
 
I already confiscated DH's hair trimming scissors. Guess that's another thing to keep a secret, lol.
