Not touching the “sweaty stuff” either physically or verbally … eeew lol
WV I have 5 bantam girls, Cilla, the matriarch is coming up to 4 years old and is a Pekin [bantam Cochin]; 2IC Dusty is also nearly 4 and is a bantam Langshan; Blondie is a nearly 3 year old Pekin; LuLu turns 3 very soon and is a frizzled Pekin and Crystal is a Silkie X who is coming up to 2 years old. Definitely not large scale here, just a few pampered garden helpers
Good luck with your new venture, it does sound exciting and definitely preferable to working for someone else.
sunflour I am quite often heard talking to the cats or chickens “Mum would love to spend more time with you but someone has to make money for cat bickies and chicken feed”.
Blooie happy birthday to Tamrin .. love the pics!
Bunnylady yeah, I also wonder if the crowing hen is more common that first thought; Dusty likes to crow on occasions also.
No Christmas Tree in our house or should I say the cats’ house which they graciously allow us to share. Christmas Tree = large cat toy! I did see this one this morning which might deserve some consideration but I think my gymnasts would still get to it:
I know comments like these will probably result in the occasional [or often]
but I envy you your snow. At 7am it was 74F with a relative humidity of 87% and the max today is predicted to be 91.5F
If we had air conditioning it would be a good day to say inside here also
