The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

@sunflour Okay, um that is way too cute!

@JaeG I don't now how you keep track of all of them! But they sure are worth the attention!

@Teila If you don't look too close at the damage can you pretend it didn't happen and just leave for the next people to move in there? I dunno - I'm grasping at straws here.

@N F C

Maybe those two dudes who tried to hold up the place would be a better choice than some of those kids who are turning in applications - at least those guys were persistent and knew where your place was.....

Thank you Blooie. Hope you do find time to enter.

This is too adorable to ever eat.

When it dries I think you would break your teeth trying to eat it..

.

I did add some Tylose powder to the fondant, and that will make it harder than regular fondant, but less hard then gum paste.

@sunflour you should post your Edible Easter entry here...it was so cute, it should be ooh'd and ahhh'd over by all of us!

@JaeG so adding them all up together, how many birds do you have?

I'll add them up for you as I don't actually know:

10 Bourkes (that includes the 3 babies)
8 Java finches
10 Society finches (plus however many eggs are going to hatch)
7 Chinese Button quail (plus however many eggs hatch)
40 Japanese quail (though I do have someone who wants some of the babies)
16 chickens

I'm not even adding all those together - I don't want to know! Definitely time to move to the country!

Here's an article I just found about the Queensland floods: http://www.msn.com/en-nz/news/world...aters-in-australia/ar-BBz2aDg?ocid=spartanntp

Hopefully it works.

And sunflour - that's so cute and gorgeous and adorable!

Thanks,

Reading you list made me start singing the twelve days of Christmas...my DH's least favorite song :)

Do do ya think Kendra has her cathing-thru-the-belly-button routine down? She took that little breathing hoozie thing apart (the little thing they sent home with Ken)and did this. I was afraid she'd see the camera and stop like she usually does when I try to catch in the act of something, but she looked up then kept right on going! She's so funny, but this how she "pretends" to be grownup when other little girls are playing house or school. Kinda sad, but really encouraging to know that she is starting to "get it."

I can't hire those two dudes...they're still sitting in jail awaiting their sentencing then they'll be out of the job market for a loooooong time. Unless they still make license plates in prison? Maybe that will be their job market.
