I totally agree, was just joking.

The information on this site is valuable and that's how most of us found you lovely folks and decided to be part of it all.

From what I've gleaned most (I hope all) of those useful articles and discussions will be making a move with the rest of us.

I consider it my "job" as a good BYC citizen to reply to rabbit threads. Sometimes, though, I get a bit exasperated when someone asks the same question that has been asked umpteen times before, and they don't even have to use the "search" feature, all they'd have to do is look down the page a bit and see a thread that has already been posted, with almost their exact query as its title.

Boy, am I glad to have a chance to logon today. Saw the notice by Nifty and would have felt badly about being incommunicado for days. A few months ago I joined BYH but other than an introduction haven't posted much over there...guess that may change with the shut down here for a bit.

Bonnie, so sorry to hear about you being down again. Please take care of yourself, we need you to be the sharp, quick-on-her-feet gal we know and love!

Has anyone heard what's going on with Blooie? I'm hoping there's some good news "out there" on her sister.

Other than the usual crazy work stuff, the only news-worthy thing going on here was the sentencing for 1 of the guys that tried to rob the golf course last year. The judge basically called the guy a drug addicted, worthless p.o.s who had been a problem to the town for the past 10 years and an embarrassment to his family and sent him off for 5-10 years in the state pen. The 2nd guy involved will be sentenced in a couple weeks.

The chicks continue to do well and grow by leaps and bounds. The 1 is definitely a boy so will have to find a new home for him.

Off to tackle a mountain of laundry then back to the course in a couple hours to take care of the dinner hours. Good news...my high school gal will be coming back to work with me on Saturday! Just weekends for now but once school is out, she's going full time. She's going to be my baker's apprentice and we're both looking forward to that. My "baking" now consists of sandwich buns, pizza dough, deserts, Cole slaw, potato salad, bbq sauces, beans, mac & cheese and whatever else needs making. Who knew when you hired cooks that they just warm up what someone else has prepared?

You guys all take care, been missing you!

Hi Debby and all! I don't know how you do it Debby, I'm sure glad you have a good helper coming soon. I joined BYH just to find out what's going on here. I agree with Sour on the birthday chat on the other site. I'm glad that bad man is going away for a while, hopefully the other one gets the same sentence.
 
Of course, everyone is welcome at the coffee tent Sour set up over there. It's a place to hang out while BYC is down.

So crazy busy Debby! Glad you are going to get some help soon, even if it's just on the weekends. Take care everyone.
