We are supposed to hit 100 this weekend and get humidity along with it and we are going camping this weekend...hope the air in the camper holds up

It is gonna be way hotter than us snowbirds like it isn't it. I prefer winter and -20 to anything over 80 degrees. Have fun camping.

I know this won't comfort you now, in this very difficult and heartbreaking time , but maybe it will as the pain eases. It's a poem I found as I was sorting through my things that I'd written out a long time ago because I loved it's meaning:

If I be the first of us to die,
Let grief not blacken long your sky.
Be bold yet modest in your grieving.
There is a change but not a leaving.
For just as death is part of life,
The dead live on forever in the living.
And all the gathered riches of our journey,
The moments shared, the mysteries explored,
The steady layering of intimacy stored,
The things that made us laugh or weep or sing,
The joy of sunlit snow or first unfurling of the spring,
The wordless language of look and touch,
The knowing,
Each giving and each taking,
These are not flowers that fade,
