The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Hi Sunflour...I've heard that before. That wind hit and I thought the camper was going over, scary stuff! It looks like it's about done and we can see if the hail did damage. That was very loud when it hit.

Hope y'all don't have damage, but glad you're ok.
And happy you're in a camper and not a tent :)
Maybe the weather will clear up for the rest of your adventure.

Today is the family visitation for Linda. Naturally it's going to be hot and humid.

DMC, thank you for signing the guest book the other day. It made me smile to know you took the time to find it and sign. And thanks for letting everyone know how to find it.

Well looks like the shower is finally available. My turn. I've been checking in here but not really posting much.

Blooie, you don't have to post right now. Your heart and head are full. Just want you to know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

DMC - those photos are gorgeous! I love a good thunderstorm (we hardly ever get them here) but I don't think I'd want to be in the midst of one while camping. Stay safe!

I don't know why my silly Orpington has decided to moult as none of her sisters are (one lives with us - the other two with my Mum). Her sister that's with us was the one that was broody, despite the cold weather. She's over that now but she hasn't moulted at all, not even a quick moult they do after being broody. At least I have three bantams still laying for us so I don't have to buy eggs, but I was hoping for some nice big eggs through winter too.

Blooie :hugsknow we are all thinking about you.

IMG_5017.PNG This was taken not to far from where we were camping...we lucked out!! My son sent me this picture. There was no damage to our truck or camper from the hail, thank goodness! That storm caused a lot of damage in it's path.

No damage and were home thank goodness! We got an inch of rain at home which was just perfect. I couldn't do a tent, but there were a couple there.

Just popping in for a quick good morning!

DMC, so glad you weren't impacted by the storm.

DH & a couple of his guys have been working on our permanent home for the girls. Really looking forward to getting it done so they'll have more room. Gotta figure out something to keep the starlings from eating all the chicken feed, darn birds are ravishing the feeder.

Hope you all have a good day!
