I can see how the two names would get confused. I just pointed it out so no one would go to the content management site looking for snacks

Well, the little quail that hatched yesterday was dead this morning. So poor little Blackbird is a bit lonely today. There are two more eggs in the incubator that look like they are still alive so hopefully at least one will make it. They both look at least a couple of days off hatching though. Here's a cute photo of Blackbird escaping from his pocket that I made with a fuzzy cloth - sometimes he'll snuggle up and go to sleep in it, other times he just climbs straight out.

I'm not a big fan of nuts but if they are covered in dark chocolate - yummy! It has to be dark chocolate though. Now I'm craving Dark Chocolate Scorched Almonds. Do you have those over there? I think Teila will know what I'm talking about.

Really using the peanut shells as mulch? I always wondered what to do with nut shells and thought maybe the smell would attract rodents., so passed on that idea.

Get peanuts and pistachio nuts often - and

DW really likes pistachios, eats some most every day. I throw the shells into the barn alley (dirt floor and is the chickens' "indoor run"). The girls eat any skins they may find and the shells seem to just disappear into the dirt.

My brother loves the cocoa almonds, I can't recall the brand but, its in a green packet. My teeth aren't strong enough to munch almonds anymore, eve nuts in ice cream. Oh bother!! They have cinnamon almonds also. The brand is Emerald but I think Fishers has the same flavors.
