Today i was fighting with the roof but i think i know how to do it now. Attached boards, some hardware cloth ( not pictured) another tarp. Slowly getting there.

I think I will wear a birthday suit costume tonight. That should keep trick or treaters away. Sure worked on the Jehovah's witnesses. JK, folks, like NFC they don't come here. Good morning, chatfolk.

If you were out here Sour, you wouldn't go nekkid, it's around 35 degrees right now, with WIND. The two previous days had heavy, constant wind - driving me batty - as if anyone could tell the difference. Today it's just windy enough to pierce winter clothing.

Baby hatched successfully and I'll try and get a photo today of the size difference. It's a very active, chatty, calm baby - very different to the one that didn't make it.

We thankfully didn't get any trick or treaters here. Halloween is creeping into New Zealand, only because retailers want to sell more stuff. We did have a neighbour across the road letting off fireworks though! He started when it was still light! At least none of our animals are worried by them. It's still annoying though. He stores them up and lets a few off every now and again, despite the fact that he shouldn't.
