It should be OK with the cats. As you might know, they are indoor only cats with an outside run so Omu will spend his days in a shady spot somewhere in the garden and night time on the deck, close to us and where the cats can not get to him .. see, making plans for something that may not happen I think I will be disappointed now if his owner does show up, happy for him but not so much for me

That's understandable...what's meant to happen will happen.
(But I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you )

They are apparently not good 'talkers' but do chatter [in bird] and can learn to whistle I believe.

Again .. doing research on something that may not happen

I am already making plans to give him the best home that I can if/when that happens

I know better, i only use q tips to tell what color the fluid leaking out is. Bright Red today!

Cap have you seen a doctor yet about your ear?

Yes, they got me in right away. Apparently i have small ear canals (which i knew) , but also very congested sinuses. He sprayed up my nose three times each side with this big sprayer apparatus, Afrin. It tastes awful! My ear tube is just hanging in there. Hope it stays. He wrote me two prescriptions.
Then i went shopping and had a great time! 75% off most of the plants at Lowes! I was driving the car, but luckily i had tarps for the trunk and back seat, because i filled them up!
I planted 6 high bush blueberry plants on a south facing slope near the house. They had been 3 for $21, so i paid 25% of that! What a deal!

Eeew, I too hope that it does not get more serious. That does not sound pleasant but retail therapy always helps hey Good score on the blueberries!
