Good Morning Friends :hugs

DMC Sorry to hear about the roaster mess, very annoying!

@Blooie Happy Anniversary! I hope everything is going OK! We miss you :hugs

Michelle Happy Anniversary to you too! :clap

I know that I wanted rain but it can stop now :p

That tropical low I mentioned yesterday is still hanging around and we received 75mm [3 inches] of rain overnight.

On the good side, predicted maximum for today is only 82.5F and the rainwater tank is full.

On the bad side, flooding down south :(

Off to do my greets and then the Angel Food Cake Challenge commences :fl Either way, I will share pictures.

We are OK here, just very soggy. Those pics are from Townsville which you might remember me mentioning. It is about 1.5 hours south of us and our closest major city.

We do have the risk of getting cut off from 'town' which is 15-20 mins away but with FIL's hoarding and doomsday prepping, we should be right :p

That is good news!

Wow that is a lot of rain!

I've been thinking of Blooie this morning. There's a note on my desk calendar that she & Ken are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary (Feb. 29th is the actual date).

Wherever she is/whatever she is doing today, I hope she's well and happy. So just in case, @Blooie best wishes on your anniversary and I wish you both many more!

X2 50 is awesome...

X2 Best wishes...
@KDOGG331 it's still winter here in WY so unless you like to ski, I'd go someplace else. May is a pretty time to come to WY but that will be after your spring break. May is also when a lot of the state and national parks open.

For your time of year, maybe check into the southwest part of the country. There's a lot to see and do in Arizona and New Mexico.

If you reach out to two crows she lives in NM. Lots to see in the sw.

Thanks so much for all the info! You sure know a lot about where stuff was filmed! Haha that's awesome though. I didn't realize Washington was so varied! I thought it was mostly wooded

I also didn't realize Utah was right there. I always forget how far north both Utah and Kentucky are. I always think of Kentucky as like way south haha
Ky is north of me...

I do like to ski but haven't in at least 5 years so I don't think I'd like to start again on the much steeper and more difficult Western mountains :gig

I actually (hopefully) graduate early May so maybe I could come after graduation sometime?

I hadn't even considered the southwestern states! Good idea! Thanks. :)

Also I've always wanted to dog sled but I don't think I want my first experience seeing the western part of the country to be spent freezing my butt off lol maybe another time after I see it once first. :)

I've always wanted to see DC too but that's also probably better in late spring.

I wonder what Monterey is like?
If you go to DC go during the cherry blossom time..

It sounds beautiful! I wonder if this time of year is good?

And wow that's amazing! I've always wanted to go to Alaska!

Ive only been to the northeastern states and Florida. So all of New England (Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, mostly just passed through CT though), New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Had layovers in GA and NJ if that counts but I don't think it does. Been to Canada and the Bahamas though a few times but those are the only places I've been haha

I've been to every airport in the country.

Ahh that makes sense. I hate the humidity. In Florida it is worse because of the heat also but I imagine Washington is bad too. I didn't think of that. One time when I got out of the airport in Florida or the Bahamas I couldn't breathe haha I think it was Florida cause Bahamas usually has breezes because of where it's located

In Nassaw the waitress called me the snow man cause I was melting.

All this Quail talk has me ready to order some Quail hatching eggs!

I want quail, but don't want to invite unwanted inspections.

He's here! My son just pulled up!

Thats how i feel when DD shows up....

Have a nice Visit!
All is cool...
