I know I said I wasn't going to get patches but..... I did. I couldn't resist the couch potato one lol too funny!! It comes with 2 patches, one for each side of the harness.

Then I also got 2 custom ones. One clear white and one reflective silver. The custom ones only come with one patch so I got two colors. I figured I needed a reflective one for night walks but the silver color is ugly so I got a white one too. I know the brand logo patches glow in the dark I think but I'm not sure if mine does or not, especially since they also sell a phosphorescent/glow in the dark one (which I couldn't find in the USA store), so it might not. But if it doesn't that's okay because I'll probably maybe use the white one during the day and the reflective at night? And I don't mind that it only comes with one patch because I'm probably always going to have two different patches on at all times anyway.

And for the writing I got his name and I got it in all caps like the sample cause I figure lower case looks kind of stupid on a patch.

So it says

GATOR

on both patches.

I think it takes maybe 2 weeks for the patches and the harness should be here within a few days. Amazon says 20th-22nd cause it's not Prime but I got an email from Stamps.com/USPS with a tracking number and it says est delivery 3 days and that it shipped today. So I think Amazon just gives a later date in case the seller doesn't ship right away or chooses slower delivery. But the good news is it was still free shipping even though it wasn't Prime.

So yeah.

Now I will have the original JULIUS-K9 logo patches that come with it, the COUCH POTATO patches, and the GATOR patches.

In other news, Chef Boyardee and Portuguese sweet bread with raisins tonight lol also dairy queen Oreo blizzard before that, this afternoon ha

Last night we went to Texas Roadhouse. Love that place. So for lunch I finished my steak and potatoes and also had a blueberry bagel haha

Yesterday and today have been sunny and blue sky. Fairly warm but not exactly "warm" if you know what I mean.

Also we drove around/took long ways back including one road we never went on before and there are SO. MANY. TREES. DOWN. It's amazing and sad and scary.

ALSO. EVEN MORE EXCITING.

My brother's girlfriend got Libby's DNA test back!!!! :D

And apparently my brother said he say 4 coyote tracks in our yard/driveway yesterday.

And last night around 2 or 3am Gator was going ballistic. I didn't get uo at first but finally did and I turned the deck light on and opened the door and stuff but I couldn't see or hear anything and Gator seemed satisfied it was gone. Sometimes he barks through the screen door for added security ha but not this time. So I went back upstairs. Not long after he started freaking out again. This time my mom went down. But we couldn't see anything so just went back to sleep.

Anyway, now tonight he started barking again just an hour or two ago about.

So I don't know if there's coyotes out there or deer or raccoons or what.

Yikes! Hopefully Gator has put them off hanging around your place. I don't think our dog would be very good at that job. She's such a wuss!

I hope so! Yesterday the door was shut but I guess it would still be audible from outside. Tonight my dad let him out to bark outside. And he also usually runs around marking everything the next day or whenever he is allowed out after haha so hopefully that's a deterrent. Thankfully though the coyote tracks were in the front yard away from everything. Although that's also bad in a way because he is only let out the back. I should really take him on a walk down the driveway tomorrow. I'm not sure he even knows the tracks are there.

That's true! Often he barks at something he sees or hears from so far away and I don't even know there's anything out there! But he sure does! And then sure enough sometimes there will be a deer way up on the hill in the front or sometimes you don't even see what he's barking at.

I just wonder if he knows those coyotes are the same ones ha he can probably smell there's been something out front.

And coyotes here are huge! We have coywolves in the Eastern US but I'm not sure if all coyotes here are coywolves. But they are huge and more bold than their western counterparts.

So sadly with his bad leg, I think a big enough pack could do him in.

BUT.

That said, sometimes I think he acts sickly or old and sleeps most of the day but then when there is a deer or something (like a real threat lol), he freaks out, lunging and barking, and instantly goes into protective mode, so then I feel like maybe he would stand a chance against the coyotes after all.

We also don't really have packs here at least I don't think so.

But the coyotes here are huge
