The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

One question when he begs at the dinner table - does he claw you to shreds if you don't feed him any?

Nope. He likes to sit on the chair next to mine, put his face on my arm and look at me with big pleading eyes. Sometimes, he just parks himself at my feet and mew. The guy has a big sweet tooth too...my son calls him Cookie Monster (and of course, shares cookies with him).

Good morning everyone :frow

@pertnear09 so good to see you!

@CapricornFarm sorry to hear about your FIL. It's tough seeing our parents failing. My dad passed away in 2010 and he knew it was coming sooner, rather than later...that was a hard conversation, where he told me it was getting close. Hugs and prayers for you and all your family. :hugs
At least you got to say goodbye. My Dad passed while we were moving down there and was comatose. So sad.

Sorry to hear you've got a cold. Take it easy and get some down time! :hugs

I was all excited this morning to fix up some planters DH made but now it's raining. What's up with that? We hardly get rain at all and my first chance to plant flowers in 2 years it RAINS. :hit Hopefully, I'll be able to get out later today to plant. DH did make some cool planters though...pretty reasonable priced too (made from smallish livestock waterers and cedar fencing):

The planters look very nice!

Were the stock tanks expensive?

Aaand looks like our family’s luck continues! Kenny was packing the girls’ things in the back of the van while Jenny gave Kendra a shower following her enema. Getting her dressed, the waistband of her pants caught in the MACE button and pulled the MACE out. Last year the ER had no idea what to do so they called Denver and sent them photos of what they were seeing, and got instructions for a temporary fix but the kids still had to take her to Denver to get it put back in. So instead of getting the 2 hour drive up to camp started, they are in the ER.
