morning everyone
getting a little rain here, happy to see it, helps my beans come up, we pulled the pea vines up the other day and replanted kentucky blues, i love the taste of those beans
after i feed the chicks, think i will go shopping for a few things, sure hate to go shopping tho, i'm one of those women that hates shopping for anything, most of the time i try to order online

My two cents when dealing with a mandolin or doing knife work at odd angles (like breaking down a chicken) wear cut resistant glove on the exposed hand.

Good morning all! We’re still at my sisters. It was a rough night last night. They did fireworks at their family reunion and my sisters boy took one to the eye. We got him to the ER and they took him by ambulance to the University of Minnesota. We couldn’t take my sister and her hubby as neither one of us drives in the cities. A cousin took them. They are transferring him to another hospital right now and he has surgery at 7:30. Last night both doctors said he would probably lose his eye. This morning they are saying they may be able to save the eye but he won’t be able to see. His other eye is scratched so don’t know if there’s anything they do for that or if it heals with time. Not much for sleep here last night.

Morning DMC, sorry to hear about your nephew... hope the situation is better than the doc's think it is.

I agree! His stepdad is a far better dad, he’s the one beating himself up over buying the fireworks.

He’s 24.

thats a shame, maybe he will be able to handle it tho if he does lose it, like i said, will be praying he doesn't
