Can you believe I can't find cabbage or Broccoli plants anywhere. Wonder if it's too late to start from seed straight in the garden?

Can you believe I can't find cabbage or Broccoli plants anywhere. Wonder if it's too late to start from seed straight in the garden?

i just bought plants of cabbage at walmarts, and seeds for the broccoli which i started the other day and yesterday i checked the greenhouse and the broccoli's already up. i can share the broccoli seeds if you want,

I have seeds. I decided this year not to start the plants in the house in favor of other things. I've been to multiple places that sell plants and no broccoli or cabbage. Talked with the lady that owns one of them and she said that she simply can't get it from her supplier... So I'll put seeds in the ground today and see what happens. Worst case is I'll have a fall crop.

ok, if you want, i could see if there's more cabbage at our walmarts and ship them to you, or i could even share the six i bought
