Hi Debby, thanks and you also!
I saw a box of white bags with handles on them on the table outside my first grade classroom. I assume that’s what they are for.( I used a shoebox as a kid and we decorated them.)I bought Valentines and a heart pencil for them. I’d like to bring them a cookie but I’d probably get in trouble as they aren’t store bought.

That's so thoughtful of you. Such a bummer with the COVID rules, homemade cookies are the best.

Valentine's Day is coming up. That used to be a huge deal when I was a kid, we'd make mail boxes or bags for valentine's to be put in, sometimes make the valentine cards, have a party with treats and fun stuff like that. Is it still that way in school?

We have had rain, and now sleet for the past 14 hours. The indoor/outdoor cat (Boo) drove me crazy last night. She didn't want out, but she hates being inside at night. I left the chickens in their runs. They aren't happy either.

We have had rain, and now sleet for the past 14 hours. The indoor/outdoor cat (Boo) drove me crazy last night. She didn't want out, but she hates being inside at night. I left the chickens in their runs. They aren't happy either.

I would so do that! I looked at those on Amazon before I bought a cat tree. My husband did not like the idea.

I know what you mean. We have springs and a pond, and we get all of our rain, a couple of times a year (between droughts) and with two dogs, mud is the bane of my existence.
