Ugh, stay cool! Our hottest part of the day is around 1600, but I’m out there with ice and water before. I check on them every hour between 1400 and 1800.

That’s good! I’m good too, thanks. And nope! None. I was thinking of hanging out with my friend today but she hasn’t answered yet so idk. I might walk the dog but it’s kind of hot.

Yeah we were at the park before the sun came up to avoid the heat. Does he like the water? To play on the beach?

That’s a good idea! He doesn’t really like the water but will sometimes wade a little bit. I can’t get to the beach unless we go to the one at the park but I don’t feel like dealing with all the other dogs today lol he loves dogs but still. We could go on the marsh instead. That’s in our backyard LOL

I’m washing laundry and did some touch up painting. I repaired many holes on my walls last year and am sick of looking at the spots. Of course it was 4 different colors of paint:pIt was on my list of summer jobs. I’m running out of time as school starts soon.

Thanks, it was. They are such a perfect couple. He cried walking the parent/grandparents down the aisle. My eyes might have teared up.

I've got all my waterers and feeders filled so now it's just a matter of keeping everyone alive. Our high today will be 107, the heat index will be around 111 to 122. 5pm is our hottest time of day, so 2 to 6 is when I have to keep a close eye on the birds.

have you ever heard the book "Wonder" about a boy' with a facial deformity, who is going to public school the first time. There's also a movie with Jennifer Aniston (sp?).

Hi Mad, happy Saturday to you! "Wonder" was a really good movie, with Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson in it. I'll have to look for the book (those are better than the movies a lot of times).
