The InCubebator continues to be problematic. I suppose if it were in a closet it would work better, My big family room has too many breezes and too much fluctuation in temps.

Everything else seems to be going well.

21 days takes forever when you are incubating. And I worry WAY too much. I wish I had a huge Brinsea that I could set and forget.

Met a nice fellow from Wilcox that has a $25,000 bator. (some place was going out of business and he got it for $600) Holds 100s of eggs
He did pheasants in it for quite a while but work brought him to Phoenix so he only goes down to his farm on weekends. He uses a little cabinet bator for his RIRs on his farm now.

I'm realizing, I'm just going to have to let nature take its course. If I can keep the temp and humidity stable in the InCUBEbator, good if not, well, I guess I lost some good eggs... good night.

Bators keep hummin' along. It will be good when I'm back to work tomorrow and just can't keep walking in, looking at and worrying over them.
Course, then I'll worry that someone will unplug them.

Well, it looks like the hard drive on my laptop has fried. The computer turns on but after the Welcome (Windows Vista) all there is, is a black screen with my mouse pointer. No Desktop, no nothing.

I had started to back up my entire drive on Friday with Carbonite and I was about half way through backing up everything. So, I may have only lost half of what I had. Who knows.

Needless to say, I won't be coming on during work (no laptop!) and I will be limited to the time I can spend on this computer here in the family room.

Always something, I'm praying I can get it back to normal and pray I don't have to buy a new computer.

I think I have had that happen. Sounds similar anyway. I took it back to the place I bought it and they took a trojan off of it and I didn't lose anything. Hope you find something similar and it doesn't result in the loss of your information! That would be bad...

GC... where did you buy your laptop. Perhaps I could take it there? I'll try anything to keep from loosing it all.
