The Odyssey/Eros flock

(S)he's definitely well built. Both breeds have strong bodies, so I'd expect nothing less. The development was so different compared to the others. I find that really cool
If this is a pullet, it's got crazy tree trunks for legs! The males must have the thighs of a T-Rex! 🦖

Wow! Similar to Turkey legs?! I take it this breed is an excellent forager, such birds would travel very far to find food and need sturdy stout legs. VERY pretty Fluffy! :love

Thanks! Yes, they're good foragers. They're really fast too. Like, really fast. But the main use for the legs are, well, fighting

Yes, I would imagine the fighting gene is what creates those humongous legs. They look like very fast runners, those thighs are meaty!
Oof. Never weighed him. They're heavy birds, but can fly really well. His offspring is also pretty heavy
He looks pretty heavy, your guy has to weigh in over 10 pounds maybe?

Yup! Legs are a really important part of the aseel. Unfortunate beginnings, but they formed an amazing bird. Unfortunately some people still view them as fighting machines, when they're so much more. Oh yeah, I'd definitely place him 10 pounds and over
