The Odyssey/Eros flock

Yup! Legs are a really important part of the aseel. Unfortunate beginnings, but they formed an amazing bird. Unfortunately some people still view them as fighting machines, when they're so much more. Oh yeah, I'd definitely place him 10 pounds and over
Yes it's sad this bird is basically viewed as a fighter only, I really love the stance and conformation of the Aseel. ❤ The long neck and nicely shaped head is quite attractive. Eyes are so expressive. Didn't you say they are very people friendly birds? I'd love an Aseel lap sitter to warm my lap. :love

I too love their build. Yes, they're extremely people friendly. Big Red is around one and a half now (if I've got my dates down). He still likes head scritches and wants to fly and perch on my arm. I only let him when his feet aren't poopy. No aseel lap roosters before you get serama🤣!

Yes I could probably squeeze a LOT of Seramas on my lap, couldn't I?! :gig

Exactly. You could. When you get the serama, we can talk about upgrading them to shoulder warming, and getting one big aseel for your lap
Sounds perfect to me, I LOVE lap sitters and an affectionate Aseel would be the icing on the cake!

Omg sooooo cute😍! Up until the aseel I never had a bird that wanted that kind of connection with me, it's really special. I really like the friendly ones as well. Although I do have a very deep respect for not so friendly birds. And of course Cruella is a "don't you dare touch me" girl

Roosters can be very intelligent, I think they seek a different type of relationship with us, they seem almost curious about us humans. At least the friendly boys, the ones that want you dead, well their interest in you is purely evil. 🤣All mine have been pretty friendly fortunately. But yes, I would definitely respect those that were non touchable.

I agree. They seem more intrigued by what "human" means. The girls don't bother as much. Most of mine have also been friendly, although my first boy got me pretty good with his spurs

Sorry you've been spurred. :hugs I've been flogged too, thankfully I've had boots on although a couple times I've gotten hit hard on the thighs.
