It depends on what kind of quail, you can't let any of them run around the yard though. They do best in a rabbit hutch style cage with a wire floor. You can hold coturnix quail, because they are the most tame. Bobwhites fly very good, and coturnix can only fly about 50 feet at a time.

Bobs fly AWESOME!! Once a male got loose and it was behind the shed, went to get the net and not even a minute later it was in the next yard!!

No, Ebay doesn't sell anything. People just post their items for a small percentage of the profit. Ebay does not sell live birds, they just allow eggs I think. I have never tried to sell anything but eggs on there, and I have never seen live birds exept on ebay classifieds wich I also use.
