The Old Folks Home

I can kneel but, only with one knee. Then the unused knee can take the pressure(pain) of standing up. Have had that forever. When I was a teenager showing Cockers, I couldn't get back up. I had to bend over instead. Boss told me I was just lazy.

My knees don't bend well at all. If I had to take a knee I'd topple over. Getting up from the floor looks like a bad windup toy as I use my hands to walk the torso back and then bend upright. Most days my mobility is good and I get around fine. But on other days the knees kind of lock up and I'm more waddling like a penguin with little steps. Sigh.... osteophytes and probably arthritis by now.

Bobcats and cougars have started showing up in our neighborhood. Well, it lets the coyotes off the hook a bit for all the pet/livestock misfortunes.

Penny -- The coffee cup is hilarious. Like the Squatty Potty commercial, you just cannot unsee it.

Fingers crossed for those in Florida that it's not a horrible hurricane, but it looks like it's gonna be a big hit wherever it lands. (Predicted at Cat4 now) Stay safe, People!

I use hands and feet to stand from sitting on the floor bite my lip to stand knees are always certain pain osteo arthritis is awful but doomed my neck and back before any of that was an issue spinal column in my neck continues to go bad no help can be had

Wow I didn’t realize they were in Vermont!
Well, theoretically the last catamount was shot in the late 1800's. And presumably we don't have wolves either. Guess it is like Champ, someone needs a GOOD photograph to prove a "non existent" animal actually is in the area.
