It is great that you had a nice trip and reunionHi all just checking in real quick. We went on our annual ladies camping trip a few weekends ago and I am just getting around to editing the pictures. I have to say I travel with a great group of ladies. DD and my oldest grandchild are in the picture plus my outlaw inlaws (sisters in law from my first marriage) and one of the outlaw inlaw's DD too. Much fun was had. We stopped by Letchworth state park and OMG we are staying there next year. We only scratched the surface of the beauty of the park. I have only one picture from the train ride we did but I have more to edit once I get the chance. Last weekend I volunteered at a local farm that donates all of their crops to homeless shelters and food pantries. I found out about them through our work and we had a group of people from our work go to pick. There were about 60 people there and in about two and a half hours we got about 22 thousand pounds of corn picked. It was amazing. I signed up to go back this weekend on my own to help out some more. I also completed my first 25k trail hike competition last weekend. I was super happy I got it done in 5.5 hours until I saw my standing. (192 out of 292 people) Next year I'm going to do better. Sorry to just drop a bomb of information and not go back and read all the pages. I will see if I can get a little more time this weekend to do a little catching up but it seems like I never will. You all are so chatty! ;-) I still miss my chickens and hope to get more some day when we eventually move away from PA. Possibly Neuropathy..Not sure why my hands go numb-doesn't happen for days and then back, bad as ever.
Everyone sez carpal tunnel. I used to brush show dogs dry from soaking wet while the dryer was on them. So I could see my right hand going bad. But my left hand never does much of anything but pass bags over to my right, when I'm not looking.
DI DI..great to see you. Beautiful area! Do send more photos. I think it's great you can volunteer like that. A great service for sure. Oh, and I miss chickens too.Hi all just checking in real quick. Big thing many yrs ago was the thick stuff, they really didn't mess with sidewalk/patio pavers back then.Beer can, Wow, that looks like bone-jarring work. I have a dumb question. I googled bluestone, and the only use I'm seeing for it, is pavers. Was it used for other things years ago?
