DI DI..great to see you. Beautiful area! Do send more photos. I think it's great you can volunteer like that. A great service for sure. Oh, and I miss chickens too. . I still remember the..giant..chicken I got from you. Man! Biggest chicken I ever owned. I miss hatching too. Do you and SCG still get together once a year?

Cynthia I didn't realize you didn't have chickens any more! Don't you just miss all the fresh eggs? I know store bought ones just aren't the same for me.
SCG and I no longer get together any more. We have just gone our separate ways. Kinda sad but I am still going on my hiking trips out west. Not exactly sure where I am going next year but I think I want to try somewhere new. I know I will visit Utah again but I think it is time to try a different area.

Morning everyone. Great pics DiDi. We used to travel a lot, mainly in conjunction with our recumbent bike and speed bike racing. Everything got to be so expensive that we slowly just stopped doing it.

Super busy here trying to get projects caught up, fall cleaning, etc. We finally got the deck stained and the new walkway about 3/4s done. The people who own the property across the road from us is getting logging done and the noise is annoying to say the least. I was awakened this morning before 7 by the sound of big timber hauling trucks rumbling down the road. Even with the windows shut and the AC on the sound is considerable. I told DH as I poured my coffee that the neighborhood is getting way too busy and crowded for my liking. He agreed. On our 2 mile stretch of road there are 5 houses,one Amish school and one vacation cabin.

Chicks and the rest of the flock are doing well. Everyone is molting and grumpy with the exception of the 5 Fayoumi's and they are just trying to stay away from the others and mind their own business. Smart birds.

Another busy day ahead so y'all have a good one and stay safe.

Oh, that's nice Cap. That's one of my grandson's 3 favorite superheroes. Batman is first on his list, then it's a tie between Spiderman, and Iron Man. That's bright, and colorful. Superhero blue is an easy paint color to work with too.

Yeah trying to get my travelling in while I still can physically and financially. I figure once I retire, I won't be able to go places as much for sure.

Yep, hiking. I used to hike the Uintas back in the days! Great memories. Now, we settle for the shorter hike up Mapleton Canyon. I posted these a while back.

There's Scott, you probably remember him. Bless his heart, he's got Alzheimer's. No chickens or larger dogs now. Slowing things down here. Get that hike in that you want! I miss getting into those mountains.
