The Old Folks Home

Around 2:30 am, I watched on camera, as a coyote left our property. Told Dh about it when he got home this morning. I don't think he really believed me, until he played it back, and sure enough, it was a coyote. Now, I will redouble my insistence on getting the front fence put up, and a dang gate.

Even if it was just a local dog Id want that fence. Dogs were a worry when I lived at home. They harassed my goats.

My horse would pancake them in a heart beat... she was deadly accurate with her front and back legs.

But I have had dogs chase and kill every one of my chickens...

Yep dogs have been my biggest predator.

I feel like the Beverly Hillbillies heading into those cities... Loved that show. Just recently heard of another one I never have watched but looking for it now streaming, 'Ma and Pa Kettle' can't believe I never saw it sounds like something my grandparents would have watched. DW said her mom had the series on VHS way back when she was a kid. Haven't been able to find it free streaming anywhere. Any of you all ever watch it?

That is from the book The Egg and I.
That was my grandmother's favorite book.

I am I had a Cardiologist appointment last week and she took me off all my Blood pressure meds except one that is still at half a dose. One I had been on for a very long time... Hydrochlorothiazide....

My weight loss has moved to a more sedentary pace but I am now solidly in the two hundreds at 297. Oh and I did some adjusting on my own. Gabapenton for me is three 100 Mg Capsules a day. I was already taking two at night. Nerve pain from Diabetes will be with me forever. But my dizzy ness was getting worse and really causeing me fear and depression.

So I gave it a week and went off my morning dose. From DAY 1 my balance was almost normal... and only got better as the week went by.

My stamina isnt there but one thing at a time.

Wow! Big changes since I last tuned in! What an ordeal, and not over, but ... wow!

:woot

The rate of reaction for vaccines is 1.34 per one million inoculations.

It would be unlikely that there would be a reaction at your event

But still ... I’m old school. There’s a right way to do things, so they should be done right.

I suppose the alternative is that fewer people get flu shots, and that is a problem, too.

[goes off to mull this over]

We did a vet shot clinic from the car. I liked it a lot better than standing in the line with the cats at the pet store.

CVS at Target sounds like a good option this years since they give a rebate with the shot.

You should play a tape of LOUD chickens racket in the coop at night, so they got an earful of what it's like . Better yet , if you could find a Beatles concert tape with all the screaming - made me hoarse for life - no joke. I saw 4 of their concerts but, only saw moving "ants" from my seat. I do think it was the Beatles tho.

They had big screens around the arena but wasn't any better than watching on TV. :hit
