Morning all more meds to Chickens making them oatmeal with a bit of uncooked but ham flavor in it for them raspberry jam in my share could not make oatmeal with out a bit for breakfast crossing my fingers I hear less sneezing out there

FYI, currant plants will root from cuttings. Told my 82yr old FIL about these plants I found, brought him a branch I figured poisonous, he popped a couple berries in his mouth and said black currants. He has red and white but no black, these suckers are growing wild. Told me to put the branch in water and it'll root... It died..
All the leaves falled off and the berries dried up. Been three months dead just haven't thrown it away.
Holy carp, green stuff growing from it and roots. And buds up the rest you can't see them though. Boo the cat checking it out also.View attachment 1918852 View attachment 1918854

It is better to put the cuttings straight into soil.
Grapes in general will grow from cuttings like this

Raining did the dishes had meds myself oatmeal is cool enough but letting the rain slow a bit maybe before I go clean chickens

Don't know about currants but I know forsythia will root starts if you lay a branch on the ground and weight it down. I started with one bush and have little forsythias all over the place around it due to this talent. It also sprouts babies from its roots.

Well got the oatmeal to the chickens cleaned their coop no one wheezing near as bad have one tiny barred she is small fairly sick but digs into the oatmeal so let see how she does

Penny I usually use terramycin in the drinking water when I hear somebody sneezing in the coop besides me, LOL. Haven't had to do that recently, knock on wood.

both will work corid is to back it up birds are no good me if cannot have their eggs but know I did the damage so they get a pass and extra care

I shot a possum tonight in the coop I lost birds in. How it got in through welded wire idk, but I am going to put another layer of wire. I have lost enough birds and other critters for one year!
