A school brought in a skunk for petting and it had rabies.

Some ideas are not the best LOL! Children should be thought to never try to pet a not domesticated animal. Even a pet skunk is not considered domesticated and can turn you you at any time

Yea you ain't gonna ketch me petting no skunk. When I was in the fur coat industry I seen a lot of skunk coats. If they got the least bit damp they got their odor back. Never could understand why someone would want one.

I think I screwed up my guts with soda and alcohol over the years.

My guts and gizzard are good, I've never liked soda, soda is bad stuff. I'm not condoning alcohol, but... at least it's made out of food.

Well gave up put long john under pants at least they are lady's style it is just wet, cold the bane of arthritis now time to think about cleaning coops

I used to where sweatpants under my pants wintertime when I worked outside everyday. Few yrs ago DW picked up some camo long john pants for me much better fit under pants. I got a few more and started wearing just them around the house and DW tried to ban them started calling them 'leggings' inappropriate around a house full of girls.... So I put shorts over them now Now I'm just banned from going outside looking 'stupid' can't go get the mail or anything

Look on Costco website for 32 degrees makes them I do sleep in the pant portion cold nights I really like them guess where women can wear leggings and it is okay but putting shorts over would be fair in my book

I'm not sure the kids get to actually pet the skunk. They do get to read to it, and see it. A friend of mine had a pet skunk. It was really a cool pet.

I've always wanted a pet skunk, I think they are pretty cool. Not legal here though.

I did have one on farm in Wisconsin I was like 4 at the time tale goes we had two but one fell in a glass of milk and drown supposedly it bonded on me followed me like and with the dogs had it about 2 years then it went it's way ma said found a girlfriend

I just read this to my husband who shrugged and basically said it sounds normal to him.

I've scrubbed too many stupid dogs who couldn't leave the black and white kitty alone to like skunks. Our last cattle dog was a complete idiot. Got skunked three times at least and just never learned. Once came dragging in reeking right before we had to head back to IL to the office. Ever drive 150 miles with a damp dog reeking of tomato juice and left over skunk pee in the back of your van?

No, it's not fun....memorable but not fun. Fun is the look on the doggo's face. I don't think he could stand his own smell.
