The Old Folks Home

Thanks for pasing on that recipe, penny. I love 'white' chili only mine is red and white as I use ground turkey and yes, tomatoes in it.

I'm still getting ready for winter, also, @CapricornFarm. I'm just having to slog through snow to do it..:hmm.. somehow that just doesn't seem right.

We were going to meet an old IL friend today over by the Mississippi river for lunch. We do that once a year and had to postpone due to the weather. Our route is all country roads, their's is interstate. No way we wanted to do windy roads when they are glazed with ice and snow.

Never saw snow on or before Halloween in my 66 years on this earth.
Great! Now you can cross that off your bucket list :D

Sounds better than my method of trying to super gently pound them in.... them bending... me trying straighten them back out... :barnie
Hmmm, no metal ones here. Fiberglass and if it flexes too much it starts to shred at the "wound site". The ability to bend them back straight sounds like a nice feature.

The ones I have gotten are a super soft metal... no idea what....

I don't have driveway markers, and in light of the recent intrusion by the drunk, I don't think I need any. Those that know me, and come to my house, don't need the markers, and those that I want to come to the house, I give them good, clear directions, so they don't need driveway markers either. All others can just keep right on going.
