We have that too now! The water from the sewage recycling is being uses in the parks here. The pipes are purple and it says to not drink!People who are growing hay in a near desert. Only desert scrub grows there without irrigation. Look up the area on Google Maps then go to the satellite view.
It is WAY beyond time for people in drought prone areas to start using gray water systems for flushing toilets and watering plants.

Glad your kitty made it. Hope Varn kicks the infection soon.Busy busy busy. Cash, our diabetic kitty did a crash yesterday with his blood sugar and we spent the day trying to get it stabilized. Finally did it around 2pm to the point where we didn't feel like we were going to loose him.
Then Varn decided to get a skin infection on his surgical site. Called vet. We are taking him in to be checked and start antibiotics.
In the mean time I'm testing next weekend so I'm cramming cramming cramming trying to remember the difference between a Pierce and an Adaptive filter. Not much time to do anything else when other responsibilities are figured into the mix.
Y'all have a GREAT weekend.
