The Old Folks Home

Good luck with that. I try not to shop on Saturdays.
Since I work during the week, it is pretty much the only time I can shop. I menu plan and shop for the week on Saturday.

Costco was not terrible today

My husband took my check to the bank that I had tried to cash days ago and they refused to cash it. They cashed it for him. I hate that bank.
Did they give you any reason why they wouldn't cash it?

In the mean time I'm testing next weekend so I'm cramming cramming cramming trying to remember the difference between a Pierce and an Adaptive filter.
Post the practice test questions here, we'll guess, then you can tell us the RIGHT answer. Maybe it will help set the info in your head.

I am heading off to Costco!

It can be quite and adventure on Saturdays
Seems to be quite an adventure most any time I show up at Costco

Costco it two miles from my house. I love it!
About 20 miles for me.

They said the check was from Overseas. Canada is not overseas.

Well maybe what they meant was "international". And one CAN take a ferry from Maine to Nova Scotia, that kinda sorta makes it overseas ;)

I'm guessing DH got a different teller or pushed the one he got if they said no for that reason and got a manager involved. Most banks will, I think, cash checks for people who have accounts with them though maybe you would need to deposit it and then take the money out after it cleared.

DD1 has a TD Bank account here and one in Canada. We deposit money in the US one and she can transfer it to her TD Canada account online.
