This is just the temp crown... date for the permanent crown is on the 18th.

I got this new temporary crown put in January 28, so over a week ago.

Should I call and tell them? And ask to go in early? Or wait until the appointment for the permanent crown?

I just feel like a weeny. Stupid tooth.

And chewing on the left side works fine.

Definitely call them.

Sometimes there is an extra root that is missed during a root canal. If the root canal was done correctly, you should not feel pain

I don't know. I've had pain in my teeth since I was 4 years old until now. Replacing them with implants was the solution for me! I've actually grabbed a hygienist's hand when she touch a wrong spot on the wrong tooth once. She wouldn't finish cleaning my teeth after that. She never had anyone do that before.

All this tooth talk makes me want to floss.....

I do that at night before bed.

I'd be pretty good if it wasn't for this flippin tooth aching me. I use sensydine or however they spell it toothpaste and have spent the last two days spackling globs of it into the missing filling's crater. It helps.

Weather.com says we'll have rain tonight, but should see the sun today.

I use Sensodyne toothpaste too, but probably don't need to anymore. It's habit at this point.

A huge blessing!!! The problem area was in the back, the chewing area, so yes, a definite problem for many years! I'm so grateful to have been able to finally be done with all that.

Dentist sort of thinks this may be the case, but it does not show on X ray and never goes on to evident abscessation.
