you need to get a draft horse.... The following video showes Draft Ponies Logging. Its an awesome video. No hoses or air cleaners or getting stuck in the mud for them@bruceha2000 we aren't brave enough to use rope. We generally use tow straps and chains. 6,000 pound pull strength on the chains which means they are a pain to pull around. Most of our property is sloped ridge country. Part of our pasture is flatish but even it has a degree of slope to it so we are usually facing pulling logs and limbs up a hill of some type.
I'm sure if my doctor or physical therapist saw me at work slinging heavy chains around and wrestling with these huge rounds of wood they would be yelling at me 'WE NEVER GAVE YOU THE OKAY TO DO THAT!'
So what they don't know won't hurt me!
That reminds me of something my dad used to say: "Even flying a 747 is easy, IF you know how."that video is amazing deb; the guys working the horses also make it look easy!
this is why we prefer the simple pour over filter paper into a vacuum jug method.Because the coffee is not on the hot plate, the coffee tastes freshly brewed from first cup, to last.
We estimate how much is left by lifting the jug - you soon learn what 1 cup, 2 cups etc. feels like. They did not include a way to tell how much coffee is left in the pot.
Nice to know. I wasn't sure about that.We estimate how much is left by lifting the jug - you soon learn what 1 cup, 2 cups etc. feels like.

I hate varmints like that! And if they are like my birds, they will then proceed to scratch all the grain out of it and make a mess of it.
Just had the feed store deliver 16 cattle panels for us to start the new enclosure to the dogs yard. Cattle panels for Cattle Dogs. They are the only thing we found that our last cattle dog couldn't chew his way through!
I discovered last night that my replanted sugar pea seeds have disappeared again. This time they left a clue...little holes dug in the soil every two-3 inches apart.....dang! Those little ******* can count and measure! But I suspect voles as being the culprits. Expensive vole food it was!
