Stopped raining for awhile here, grass everywhere is browning up. Most of the original home wells went dry and using Chicago water is very costly. Grass has to wait for rain. Luckily it comes back once it rains again.

Don't care for "virtual" doctor visits, they can't do blood pressure checks, listen to heart, etc.

Another beautiful day in my world. Weather will remain moderate through Thursday. Then Fri - Sun. when we have a trial at the club gets hot and humid. Mixed feelings about the activity given the nature of the Coronavirus. Several clubs have reactivated with social distancing. We'll see. I will remain cautious.

Funny thing is we like to do the tele-doc visits. We have a thermometer, blood pressure cuff, a blood sugar monitor, and an O2 saturation device that also gives pulse reading, plus the scale for weigh-ins. The staff loves that we have all the chartable stuff handy for them...and then it's getting down to biz. So nice not to have to drive into town, hassle with parking, and be in the sick people's building.
The last visit the doc suggested DH get a heating pad for his aching back, to which DH replied "Well, at bedtime I have the greyhound snuggled against my back. Thermal puppy." I was amazed that the doc actually put the dog as his heat source. (Well, she IS a therapy dog.) Careful what you say!

Here, quite a few of the doctors are even doing virtual visits.

Here too. I've not done one but I guess they are OK for some stuff, turn your head and cough just doesn't seem like one of them. We got a bill for DD1's "visit" to the local doctor ... while she was in Canada. Had to check with her to see if she actually "went" to the doctor.

Was kinda strange I did a call with my Dr was surprised me
but guess it was a visit during this time ... Does not get my blood, kidneys to be specific
checked
