Dh is not feeling well. He was running a low grade fever last night, but took Motrin, so it broke the fever. He was to go to the doctor this morning, but since he's not running fever, he won't go. The doctor's office told him not to take his next dose of Motrin, and wait, to see if he begins running fever again, and come in if he does. In the meantime, his work called, and he's not to go in tonight.

Oh no! Hope he doesn't have covid.

I've tried to incubate 4 of her eggs on different occasions and all turn out the same.

Can you find a nice non SOP Araucana rooster with no tufts?

Hmm interesting! Didn’t realize similar things existed in other breeds! Most of these double merle dogs are also born solid white which might be where the “lethal white” name comes in. Although they don’t always die I don’t think

White boxer's are usually deaf also. Yrs ago buddy of mine and I had brother boxer's. He kept one pup from a litter of his that was white and deaf. Didn't really affect her at all other than she couldn't hear you

Aw she sounds great! Haha I know some people teach the deaf dogs sign language.

Dalmatians are commonly deaf as well.

I wasn't online for awhile after BYC's last change and couldn't find any threads either. Took awhile but figured it out.

I finally got the 'take pics of chicks' off my to do list. They are really growing.

The 3 Fayoumi chicks. DH said. 3 roosters, look how they are standing on their toes...I said, no, 2 roosters, 1 pullet in the front. She isn't on her toes but is alert.

One of Cookies little SDW chicks. Probably a cockerel if the eye liner is any indication.

Bobbie Jo and her chicks. She has the three Fayoumi's and one SWD. I'm thinking one of the Fayoumis is half/half...half what besides Fayoumi is anybody's guess. Time will tell.
