Well morning old folks I have enough of fight with morning glory
not going to add purslane to my trouble plants .. having my invisible bugs on my arms today

Morning glory was one of my most hated weeds. Many times I was working tons of overtime and neglected the garden weeding. I swear those suckers are like a parasite, completely vine up around a plant and destroy it. Only saw one this yr.
Purslane while a invasive weed doesn't cause any probs in a garden. Very low growing and their root system is about non existent, even a big plant if you rip..doesn't take much more like gently pull it up the whole bundle of the plant has like a one inch root system.

Elderberry? I take mine in the form of wine
Grows all around here. I remember just eating the berries when I was a kid. They aren't bad but not yummy.

Eldeberry wine got sicker than dog on that ... Eons ago .... We fight the morning glory all the time last was on pmaps grass in the far side of our property I kinda like it morning glorry was killing now it after a cedar tree on the side of yard by the garage

What is this elderberry extract? What is it good for?

We have a wild elderberry, and it's a great plant to have - lovely scent when in flower, covered in bees etc. The berries are a bit tart for my taste, but the chickens appreciate them if I pick them for them (it's too dense for them to get to the fruit themselves, and the wild birds get the berries before they fall). I think they're high in Vit C and beta-carotene, among other things. Elderberry cordial in sparkling water also tastes lovely - it is summer in a glass.

There is likely something in elderberry that is good for you that is not listed.

Beta-carotene was compared to eating carrots. Carrots had an effect but beta-carotene did not. The whole food is usually much better that a chemical removed from it.
