The Old Folks Home

Oh come on guys, who are we kidding here? Oreos and Lays potato chips are in that major food group that includes Rocky Road Ice cream and Hershey Kisses! Ya just can't live without them.

I hate to hear that Perchie is having a rough time of it. That lady does not need that God Love Her, neither does Chicka. At our (clears throat) delicate age, even small crap can turn into big with the blink of an eye.

Prayers sent that they are both on the road to recovery.

Good job, @penny1960.

Pardon me for saying this, but, there are so many things men "just do not get it!"

But, I do not hold a man's choice of ice cream flavors against him. Nor his taste in music. Funny though some act like you are a "traitor," for not liking the same things they do.

I've always used my sheets in sets. Fitted, flat, and pillow cases. I've always folded, and stacked them accordingly in the linen closet. With Dd #1, and the grands living here, they just plunder, and grab whatever. When Dd #1 washes, folds, and puts it back on the shelf, she just shoves it in there, in no certain order. Over time, it's made it so I can't find an actual set of sheets without going through the entire closet, OR some of every set is in use, either on the beds, or in the laundry.

Awhile back, I read something about using one pillow case from the set, and putting the fitted, flat, and extra pillow case inside the one pillow case. That way, you just grab the pillow case, and the rest of the set is inside. When I first heard the tip, I would never have considered it, but things have changed around here. Now, all my sheet sets are inside the corresponding pillow case, and all are on the shelf that way. It is much more organized, and looks neater.

that's a great idea! I have similar lackadaisical family members and thus problems with the bed linen. Next wet day, I'll work my way through the linen cupboard, oh joy :hmm
