Dh has been having trouble with his computer. He thought his SSD drive was going out, so he ordered another one. It came in early yesterday morning. He couldn't get it to work, so we plugged it into my computer. It worked fine. I told him to disconnect one of his working drives, and plug the new one in there. He didn't. Instead, he spent the entire day, and a good part of the evening, going through all sorts of things, testing, checking, more testing.

Last night he was talking about how it might be the motherboard, etc. Again, I told him the other drives were working, so unplug one of the working drives, and plug the new one into that slot. Finally he did. It worked. Yes, it had to be the motherboard, whine, whine, whine, BUT he could use it with one less drive. I told him to check that cable. He did. Guess what? He spent almost 12 hours, and it was a stupid cable.

Cables!

One or our Faculty was having a printer issue this week. it was a bad usb cable that was causing the problem
 
Always a good thing to check first. Is it plugged in? Is it on? New cable/hose etc :p try all the easy stuff first!
I can not tell you how many hours I have spent on computer issues :he
We were feeling well enough to eat today, so that was good. Still not sure if there was a gluten contamination, if we got dosed when we gave the cats ear mite meds (we are both super sensitive) or if it was some random bug. At least it seems to be over. This week went way too fast. Expecting a wind storm tonight, hoping it isn't too bad.

Good news on the recovery!

We have some chance of rain this weekend into next week but the highest day is 40% chance of rain.

I have not seen wind alerts yet
