Well, I've officially put "crazy" into Crazy Chicken Lady. While shopping at Trader Joe's yesterday I spied fertile eggs that were just a few days old. So, naturally, put 22 into my incubator. Along with the 32 eggs set the day before, that's 54 eggs or a virtual tsunami of chicks in a couple of weeks if all decide to participate.

.....AND the incubators will be cleared out just in time for the Easter Hatch-along.

I agree, between the weather and Covid, I'm getting a little stir crazy. BUT. Compared to a LOT of people, my life is easy-peasy, and I remind myself of that several times a day.

Many years ago, I worked with a guy who had MS (I think). One raw November day, my ankle ached a bit, from when I broke it skiing in 8th grade. Oh, poor me... wah wah wah. That day, I saw my coworker come in using a cane for the first time. I wanted to slap myself silly. What did I have to complain about?

For anyone without power and heat, if you set up a small tent on your bed, cover it with a blanket and get in. Your own body heat will help you stay warm.
