The Old Folks Home

Well, I've officially put "crazy" into Crazy Chicken Lady. While shopping at Trader Joe's yesterday I spied fertile eggs that were just a few days old. So, naturally, put 22 into my incubator. Along with the 32 eggs set the day before, that's 54 eggs or a virtual tsunami of chicks in a couple of weeks if all decide to participate.

.....AND the incubators will be cleared out just in time for the Easter Hatch-along.

("Hello. My name is Peep_Show and I'm a hatch-aholic.")
Did you use the Julian date on the carton?

When I had a plumber in to do something else and I said we had a drip, he said, "Oh, that's an easy fix." When I showed him what had to be taken out, he said, "... or not." :gig
Really. I'd like to see what you have there! Every shower valve I know about has a cartridge of some sort that can be swapped out from the shower side.

That’s so sad! I love our local one although they don’t call it Agway. There’s a few other ones around too. They’re great!
Apparently the closest Agway to me is the co-op in the next town over. Haven't been in there much and their website yielded a 404 error.

I'll probably look at the Carhartt site again and then Amazon. The bibs I saw were the same price on both sites.
Oddly the Carhartt site (men's over and cover alls) didn't have as many options as Amazon. On the other hand one model I was looking at was cheaper on the Carhartt site by about $20. Lots of "not available" sizes on both though. I guess it is too late in the season? After all it IS February, when the catalogs start carrying bathing suits.

Often a price will see lower on site other than Amazon...until shipping is added

Two pictures show both sides of the shower wall. The house was built in 1979-80.

The tongue and groove (pic with towel) goes from floor to ceiling.

Either side means removing "wall" stuff to get into the plumbing works. When we've taken the tongue and groove stuff out in another room, it just splinters and shatters, as it's cedar. I think we got three or four decent pieces out when we tried. The rest were just scraps.

We plan to replace the shower this summer. Hubby is going to take out the tongue and groove and replace it with something that will removable for any future fixes/replacements.

Ours is run under a different name too and managed by a family friend

Good point, I would have to check that.

Looks like a standard Delta or Moen, where is this drip the requires the wall to be opened up??
