The Old Folks Home

Afternoon folks.

Got a call bright and early this morning from a new Rheumatologist that my doctor found for me. Appointment on the 30th of June! No 3 month wait. No jerking my chain. Finally may get some answers and to make matters sweeter. This doc doesn't use Prolia as a front line drug for osteo. They said that she has better and gentler medications that she uses! :wee :celebrate:ya
That is good news!

Yay! Glad to hear it!

I'm glad too guys. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I declared war on Carpenter Bees. Little so and so's are eating our house. Dept of Conservation wants us to put up 4X4 blocks for them to dig into. Tried that. They ignored the blocks and chewed on our deck roof instead. Oh don't kill them they whine! They are pollinators. Then they need to go pollinate somewhere else and leave our blasted deck roof alone because I intend to off every one of the little boogers every chance I get.

I had one hit me in the head this morning when I went out to let the chickens out. I think it actually aimed for me.

So far I have 21 notches in my net pole. No, this isn't just one or two little cute wooly Carpenter bees this is a freaking invasion and this means WAR!

Husband uses a badminton racket to kill them and then the dog eats them.

I just came in from hilling up potatoes. The ground was just marginally dry enough to get the job done and more rain forecast for tonight and tomorrow then again on Thursday.

We are still waiting for it to dry out long enough for us to get that cursed lagoon filled in the rest of the way. Maybe next week?

@CapricornFarm. I have one of those bug zapper badminton rackets. They work pretty good also, better if you put batteries in them.

Up to 23 now. Arrogant little so and so's actually stare at me if I miss them once with the net.
