The Old Folks Home

Welcome to those new to the thread!

My weekend was busy. I did the menu planning as shopping for the week on Saturday and tackled cleaning and defrosting the freezer in the garage, attaching the wire conduit for the min split, and repaired some of the fence in the run. I also baked a ham and a loaf of bread.

Sounds like time for ham sandwiches!

We will have that for lunch today and then dinner is scalloped potatoes. Later will be ham beans. I will also use the ham in stir fry and etc. Big things like the ham and a turkey seem expensive but we come out ahead with all of the meals we get from them!

We completed a chili beans cycle last week: Chili beans, tacos and then chili dogs.

It is a good way to use food!

Afternoon folks.

Got a call bright and early this morning from a new Rheumatologist that my doctor found for me. Appointment on the 30th of June! No 3 month wait. No jerking my chain. Finally may get some answers and to make matters sweeter. This doc doesn't use Prolia as a front line drug for osteo. They said that she has better and gentler medications that she uses! :wee :celebrate:ya
